When The Earth Cried Out

Darkness fell on every nation,
Hearts grew cold with every breath.
Wickedness filled all creation,
Every road just led to death.
The Lord looked down with grieving eyes,
The earth was drowning in its lies.

But when the earth cried out in violence,
God’s justice rolled like thunder’s sound.
Through the storm, He found the righteous,
One faithful man to stand his ground.
In mercy wrapped in holy fire,
He cleansed the world, but raised it higher.

Corruption roamed without a chain,
No peace, no truth, just endless pain.
Yet in the chaos, grace was sown,
A vessel carved from faith alone.
The ark arose, the rain did pour,
New life would rise from distant shore.

For when the earth cried out in violence,
God’s justice rolled like thunder’s sound.
Through the storm, He found the righteous,
One faithful man to stand his ground.
In mercy wrapped in holy fire,
He cleansed the world, but raised it higher.

Judgment came like pounding waves,
But love still carved a path to save.
A rainbow stretched across the sky,
A promise never to deny.

So when the earth cries out in sorrow,
Let hearts be found in truth again.
For God still sees, and God still follows,
Each soul that walks the narrow plain.
In mercy wrapped in holy fire,
He leads us through the rising tide—
And lifts us higher.
